Eventually, I shut that business down.
It felt like failure - yet, if I’m honest, it was also relief. I’d poured in years of energy and stacks of cash and walked away exhausted and out of answers.

So I went back to corporate and climbed the Operations ladder all the way to COO. 

There I learned a lesson no MBA class teaches:

Businesses don’t break because the owner lacks talent or drive.
They break because the operations were never built to support growth - or create time freedom.

Armed with that insight, I launched again - but this time, I built the company like a franchise: streamlined, documented, scalable. 

Revenue rose, stress dropped, and the business ran without my fingerprints on every task.

Then life tested my convictions again - a heart attack.

That moment made one truth impossible to ignore: no success is worth your health, your peace, or your presence with the people you love. 

It didn’t break me; it crystallized my calling.
