Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all services, programs, and products purchased from Daily Principal. By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy.


1. Ongoing Monthly Consulting Services

Cancellation Terms

Either you (the Client) or Daily Principal (the Consultant) may terminate ongoing monthly consulting services by providing written notice at least ten (10) business days prior to the last day of any calendar month.

Written notice must be sent to: hello@dailyprincipal.com

Termination will be effective only as of the last day of the month in which proper notice is given.

Payment Obligations Upon Cancellation

  • You remain responsible for all payments due through the end of the month in which you provide cancellation notice
  • No prorated or partial refunds will be issued for the month in which cancellation notice is given
  • All payments for services rendered up to and including the termination date must be paid in full

Example: If you provide cancellation notice on January 15th (at least 10 business days before January 31st), your service will terminate on January 31st, and you are responsible for the full January payment. No refund will be issued for unused days in January.

Prorated Credit (Consultant’s Discretion)

In limited circumstances, Daily Principal may offer prorated credit for unused service time if termination occurs before completion of a monthly cycle. This is offered at the sole discretion of Daily Principal and is not guaranteed.

Prorated credits, if offered, may only be applied toward future services with Daily Principal and cannot be redeemed for cash.


2. One-Time Consulting Packages and Programs

Before Services Begin

If you purchase a one-time consulting package or program and wish to cancel before any services have been delivered or access has been granted:

  • Full refund available if you request cancellation within 7 days of purchase and before any sessions have occurred or materials have been accessed
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@dailyprincipal.com
  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method

After Services Begin

Once consulting sessions have begun, program access has been granted, or materials have been downloaded:

  • No refunds will be issued for one-time packages or programs
  • You remain responsible for full payment regardless of program completion
  • You may continue to access purchased materials or complete scheduled sessions per the original agreement

Rationale: Our consulting packages and programs represent significant time investment, customized strategies, and proprietary methodologies. Once delivered, the value has been provided and cannot be returned.


3. Digital Products and Downloadable Materials

All sales of digital products, downloadable templates, guides, worksheets, or other digital materials are final and non-refundable once access has been granted or materials have been downloaded.

Exception: If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing or downloading purchased digital products, contact us at hello@dailyprincipal.com within 48 hours of purchase, and we will resolve the technical issue or issue a refund.


4. Non-Payment and Service Suspension

Late or Missed Payments

If you fail to make any scheduled payment for ongoing services:

  1. First notice: We will send a payment reminder via email within 3 business days of the missed payment
  2. Grace period: You will have 5 business days from the reminder to make payment
  3. Service suspension: If payment is not received within the grace period, services will be suspended
  4. Termination: If payment remains outstanding for 15 days after the original due date, Daily Principal may terminate the agreement

Obligations After Non-Payment Termination

If your agreement is terminated due to non-payment:

  • You remain obligated and liable for all payments due up to and including the termination date
  • Any unpaid balances may be sent to collections
  • Late fees of 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less) may be applied to overdue balances
  • You will not be eligible for future services until all outstanding balances are paid in full

5. Consultant-Initiated Termination

Daily Principal reserves the right to terminate consulting services at any time for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Client behavior that is abusive, disrespectful, or threatening
  • Client’s failure to participate or engage in scheduled sessions
  • Violation of our Terms of Service or agreements
  • Non-payment as outlined in Section 4
  • Mutual determination that services are not a good fit

Refunds for Consultant-Initiated Termination

If Daily Principal terminates services for reasons other than non-payment or client misconduct:

  • You will receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of prepaid services
  • Refunds will be calculated based on sessions/time remaining and will be issued within 15 business days
  • You will retain access to any materials or resources already provided

If termination is due to non-payment or client misconduct, no refund will be issued.


6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to providing valuable consulting services. If you are unsatisfied with your initial consulting session:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of your first session
  • Explain your concerns and why the services did not meet your expectations
  • We will work with you to address concerns or offer an alternative approach

If we cannot resolve your concerns: We may offer a refund of your first session fee at our sole discretion. This guarantee applies only to the first session and does not apply to entire packages or programs once additional sessions have been completed.


7. Rescheduling and No-Show Policy

Rescheduling Appointments

  • You may reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours notice at no charge
  • Rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours notice may be accommodated based on availability but are not guaranteed

No-Show or Late Cancellation

  • If you miss a scheduled appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, the session will be considered used and no refund or credit will be issued
  • Exceptions may be made for documented emergencies (serious illness, family emergency, etc.) at the sole discretion of Daily Principal
  • Repeated no-shows may result in termination of services

8. Force Majeure and Service Interruptions

If Daily Principal is unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control (serious illness, family emergency, natural disaster, technology failures, etc.):

  • We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible
  • We will work with you to reschedule sessions or extend service periods
  • If services cannot be rescheduled or resumed within a reasonable timeframe, you will receive a prorated refund for undelivered services

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Our Commitment

We strive to address any billing concerns directly and encourage you to contact us first if you have questions about charges.

Chargeback Policy

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, you must:

  1. Contact us at hello@dailyprincipal.com to attempt to resolve the issue
  2. Allow us 5 business days to respond and address your concern

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • We reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with evidence of services rendered
  • Your access to all services, programs, and materials will be immediately suspended
  • You may be liable for chargeback fees and collection costs
  • You will not be eligible for future services

Fraudulent chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback after receiving services constitutes fraud. We reserve the right to pursue legal action to recover amounts owed plus associated costs.


10. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To request a refund or cancel services:

  1. Send written notice via email to hello@dailyprincipal.com
  2. Include the following information:
    • Your full name
    • Email address associated with your purchase
    • Service or product purchased
    • Date of purchase
    • Reason for refund/cancellation request
    • Any relevant order or invoice numbers
  3. Wait for confirmation: We will respond within 3 business days to confirm receipt and eligibility
  4. Processing time: Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to your original payment method

Note: Refund and cancellation requests made verbally (in person or by phone) are not binding. All requests must be submitted in writing via email for processing.


11. Non-Transferability

All purchases are non-transferable. You may not sell, transfer, or assign your services, programs, or access to another person without written consent from Daily Principal.


12. Modification of This Policy

Daily Principal reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Material changes will be communicated via:

  • Prominent notice on our website
  • Email notification to active clients

Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.

Existing agreements: Changes to this policy will not affect existing service agreements. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern your specific transaction unless otherwise agreed in writing.
